In other news…

I’m heading to San Diego tomorrow for the American Library Association Conference! It’s my first time going and I’m so excited to meet fellow authors, librarians, and other bookish people. I’ll be there accepting the APALA Asian Pacific American Award for Youth Literature for I’D RATHER BURN THAN BLOOM at their annual Literature Awards Banquet on Saturday, June 29. I am very honored (and very scared) to give my acceptance speech!

(TLDR: my book has a sticker and I’m crying.)
